US Earth-minded fest opts for Iran ‘Don’t Be Tired!’

Iranian film ‘Don’t Be Tired!’ has qualified to compete at the 2017 edition of The Earth Day Film Fest in the US.

Co-directed by Afshin Hashemi and Mohsen Gharaei, the 93-minute picture will compete as a narrative feature in the fest.

“Don’t Be Tired is a timely and inspiring film that elucidates universal commonalities even in light of outward differences and language barriers. Hashemi has clear and comedic mastery as a director. A well-crafted film traversing through loss, grief, mishap, and optimism to connect humans across the globe”, the official selection announcement reads.

The Earth Day Film Festival is a platform to showcase art and film projects of Earth sensitive subjects.

The 3rd edition of The Earth Day Film Fest will be organized April 19-21, 2017 in California, US.
